RDO Hostel has been volunteering in different aspects.

Below are among of them

1. Youth Empowerment

RDO has empowerd youth through mobilizing them to form entreprenuership groups where by it can be easy for the government to give them loans. Forexample Acha Alama Group. Acha Alama group is one among of entreprenuership group which has formed by RDO Hostel through collecting and organizing youths who have graduated in Design, Sewing & Clothing Technology & Machine Knitting, then helping them to get fund from the Mufindi District. The group has successful received the fund from Mufindi District Council, now they have their own opened Business in Design, Sewing & Clothing Technology & Machine Knitting. RDO Hostel as a guardian offer assistance in this group until now.

Again RDO Hostel provide entreprenuership training to the youth in order to get liberated from poverty by emphasing to employ themselves through sorrounding opportunities. Not only that, RDO Hostel also provide Educational Support to the youth in undertaking Studies especially in Vocational Training Education through paying school fees and accomodations.

2. Enviromental Conservation

We have tree planting programs for enviromental conservations. We plant trees which conserve catchment area (water resouces). Naming some of those trees are Gravelayer, Artmisier, Mivengi, Muheyelo, Mpogolo and Muhapi. Those kind of trees are friendly for water resouces, hence they help to protect water resouces from drying up.

3. Caring of the future generation

We care of the future generation through holding their hands. We diatribute pads to the young girls in Schools. These pads are friendly, due to the reason they are can be used repeatedly. Rather than buying more pads per months, only one pad is enough.
